Today was a day for making cuddle quilts for Craft Hope's newest project...security blankets for survivors of the tornadoes in Alabama. It felt good to be sewing pieces of fabric into a small comfort for someone in need. I remember all too clearly the early days after Hurricane Katrina when we didn't know how or what would happen to our lives. When friends and family opened their hearts to us, our spirits rose. I am grateful to be giving back in a very small way after another national disaster.
